Pro-Stitcher Premium and Pro-Stitcher Lite are powerful robotic quilting programs.  The many features and tools give you lots to learn about!

Doing so in bite-sized chunks is a great way to learn these programs. This virtual class on Zoom enables you to take part wherever you live in the world from an experienced Handi Quilter Educator.

What will you learn?

In this series, you’ll learn from Handi Quilter Educator, Susan Manry, who’ll teach you the following:

• Program navigation, overview of tools, features, settings, including newest features
• Updating Pro-Stitcher – Why, when, and how
• Using the program in Simulation mode
• File Types: Designs, Workspaces, and Areas
• Creating a variety of edge-to-edge quilt layouts, including wrapping and off-setting
• Drag and drop for accurate quilt advancement, with solutions for gaps between rows, and pattern “drift”
• All about the New Start/End tool
• In-Depth Handling Interruptions: Easily realigning the pattern with existing quilting, bobbin changes, thread breaks, and restarting anywhere

• Setting accurate and effective Areas
• Custom Quilting and the Modify Tools 

• Working with multiple designs simultaneously
• Stitching Corners and Borders seamlessly
• In-depth Cropping: Inside, Outside, Start/End
• Using Move, Mark, and Record
• Working with existing stitch files

When is it?

Sessions will be on the first Wednesday of each month starting on 2nd October 2024 6-8pm.

Each virtual session will be recorded and hosted online for students to access anytime.

How much does it cost?

The cost for 12 months is £330 (inc VAT). If you live in Europe you will need to select the UK (use the PInhole Quilting address) for the Delivery To address. For other countries such as Canada or United States you can put your country as the Delivery To address. This will reduce the VAT to zero.

This cost covers a two hour online workshop every month and the ability to be able to review it at any time. In addition you have the support of Pinhole Quilting. We will set up a private Facebook group for you to connect with other students who are on the Zoom Class with Susan so if you have questions in between time we'll be there to help you.

Please note that the cost of the course is for the full 12 months but we have arranged it so that you pay quarterly in instalments. By signing up you are agreeing to sign up for the full 12 months which is payable as £82.50 when you book followed by three quarterly payments of £82.50 each in December 2024, March 2025 and June 2025. We will send you invoices for those quarters by email. You can pay by card or direct bank payment.

Please note that this course is for 12 months. If payment is not received for the full amount of £330 you will lose access to the online recorded classes and the Facebook Group.

About Susan

At age five, Susan Manry’s mother taught her to thread a needle and make a running stitch. Before long, she had taken over the sewing machine. Growing up, Susan’s interests included textiles, drawing, design, and a broad range of arts and crafts.

While raising three busy children and running an insurance business with her husband, her hobbies expanded to include digital drawing, web authoring, and computer technology. Yearning for a career using her creative talents, Susan was smitten after discovering the combination of her creative joys in one activity, long arm quilting! Fabric, drawing, design, and sewing all in one complete package was simply too enticing to resist, and soon she was happily partnered with her HQ Fusion® and Pro-Stitcher®. Mastering Pro-Stitcher and Pro-Stitcher Designer™ and seeking innovative ways to use both, Susan now enjoys quilting professionally with the HQ Infinity®. She has also added the HQ Sweet Sixteen® to her studio, expanding her skills and talents to include sit-down quilting. Susan believes she was meant to quilt and she relishes any opportunity to share her love and knowledge of the craft with others.
