Lynda Jackson

Lynda cannot remember a year when she didn’t have a needle and thread or a sewing machine close by.  Her mother taught her to sew from a young age and she has done it ever since.

2013 saw the purchase of her first longarm, her much loved Avante, and soon found her passion in free motion quilting and started her own longarm quilting company.  Her talent was soon spotted and Lynda was asked to become a Handi Quilter UK Educator and shortly after that Lynda became a Handi Quilter Ambassador representing the company at many shows and events.

Lynda added the Prostitcher to her Avante for customer work but also the Infinity for custom and private work, as well as a Sweet Sixteen.

Although her main love is free motion quilting, Lynda has always had a creative side and this shows in her pro-stitcher designs which she often shares on her Facebook groups. Lynda loves teaching both new and more experienced quilters, sharing her tips and techniques for both free motion and computerized quilting, both in classes and online groups

Lynda has entered many Competitions in the UK and has received Best of Show on many occasions with her free motion quilts, and also achieved Best of World in 2018 at the World Quilts Show in New England.  Her most recent award was winner of Excellence in Longarm Quilting at the Festival of Quilts 2022 for another free motion piece.
