Beyond The Basics: Pantographs, Fillers and Flow

You’ve completed your Foundation Course, now it’s time to find your flow. This follow-up workshop is specifically designed for those who have a grasp of longarm basics and are ready to move on to the next level and channel their creativity.

What We’ll Cover:

  • Free Motion Freedom: Say goodbye to the square circle! We’ll practice rhythmic movements to master classic shapes like loops, hearts, and organic vines that look great even if they aren't "perfect."
  • The Power of Pantographs: Learn how to achieve that professional, edge-to-edge look using your quilt from the back kit. We’ll cover alignment, tracking, and how to keep your rows seamless.
  • Fearless Fillers: Ever looked at a blank space on a quilt and gone completely blank? We’ll teach you "go-to" background textures eg pebbles and stipple meander, that hide imperfections and add incredible dimension.
  • Using Pro Stitcher: If you have Pro Stitcher or PS Lite, then you will have the chance to gain confidence with blocks and edge to edge designs.
  • How Do I Quilt It?: Bring a quilt that you’d like to discuss and using your new skills and our ideas you can plan how to quilt it.

Why Join This Session?

The goal of this workshop isn't just to teach you to stitch; it's to build your confidence. You’ll leave with a selection of patterns you can use on your next few quilts.

"Confidence comes from the practice, not the perfection of the line."

One machine per student!

Start Time: Please arrive for 09:15 - we will start at 09:30 prompt
Finish Time: 4:30pm
